This Privacy Notice tells you what to expect in relation to personal information about you which is collected, handled and processed by SeeView.
SeeView of Plas y Felin, Heol y Felin, Cwmgwrach, Neath SA11 5TB is the Data Controller.
We acknowledge and agree that any personal data of yours that we handle will be processed in accordance with all applicable data protection laws in force from time to time. Currently, the Data Protection Act 1998 applies. With effect from 25 May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulations (“GDPR”) will come into force, which will change the law.
The information we may collect
The information about you we may collect, hold and process is set out below:
(A) Information collected and processed for providing our cleaning service(s) to you is as follows:
* Your name
* Your address
* Your email address
* Your telephone number
* Times when you’re home
* Notes on how to access all external areas of your property
* Any other work related information you provide, for example, if you have pets to be careful of during cleaning, prices you pay for
our services etc
(B) Information in respect to individuals that have used our services in the past is as follows:
* Your name
* Your address
* Prices you paid for previous service(s) and payment(s) you made to SeeView
This information will have been provided, or will be provided, by you.
How we use the information
The above information is used to provide our services to you in our capacity as a cleaning business to provide you with cleaning service(s) based on your requirements as set out below.
The information under A above may be used as follows:
· To contact you regarding your cleaning requirement(s)
· To notify you regarding delay(s) to service(s) or change(s) to service(s)
· To discuss payment for service(s) rendered
· To keep you informed of available service(s) you may be interested in
· To notify you of any termination to your cleaning service(s)
The information under B above may be used as follows:
· To re-offer our cleaning service(s) to you if you have used our service(s) in the past but do not currently
· To chase payment(s) not received for previous service(s) rendered
· To gain consent to retain your personal data for an extended period if our business has need to for legal reason(s)
How we hold the information
All the personal data we have is stored on our cleaning database in the UK. This database if accessed via password protection through various devices where required for SeeView to perform business functions. This information is not passed on to any other party unless explicitly authorised by you.
Disclosure of your information
Your personal data is only disclosed to other parties in order for the other parties to render cleaning services as requested by you. These other parties are located inside the European Economic Area (EEA). Personal data shall not be transferred to a country or territory outside the EEA.
What is the legal basis for processing the information?
Under the GDPR, we process the information marked with an * above which is collected either from you directly or from a friend or relative who has been requested by you to visit you and discuss cleaning service(s).
Once an agreement for rendering services to you has been established, we will process your personal data, for the purpose of rendering service(s) to you. We do not collect financial details from you at any point in order for payment for cleaning service(s) to be processed. You will either pay with cash or means for you to pay through other payment services (such as Direct Debit) will be sent to you by SMS or email in a way that SeeView does not receive or process any of your banking or financial information.
If it is necessary to reimburse you any over spend, where relevant, we will arrange repayment in cash or another means that does not require you to provide banking or financial information.
Once you have agreed to SeeView providing you cleaning service(s), we may also process your data on the basis of our legitimate interests i.e. for administrative purposes.
You currently have the right at any time to ask for a copy of the information about you that we hold. We do not have the right to charge a fee. If you would like to make a request for information please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
In addition to this right of access, under GDPR you will also have the following rights: erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability.
Retention of your data
Your data will be retained for no longer than is necessary and in accordance with our Data Retention Policy.
Withdrawal of consent
If you have provided us with your consent to process your data, for the purpose of using our services, you have the right to withdraw this at any time. In order to do so you should contact us by emailing email@example.com.
If you have a concern about the way we are collecting or using your personal data, you should raise your concern with us in the first instance or directly to Information Commissioners Office at https:\\ico.org.uk\concerns\.
